Our History
Establishing Our Industry and Construction Safety Training Academy
Our decades of prior experience in the industry highlighted a critical gap. We identified an unmet need in the market for high-quality, certified, on-site and off-site industry training. Safety grew more difficult to ensure as equipment became more complex. Regulations feel ever changing, creating confusion. Jobsites of all kinds became hotbeds of opportunity for improvement. Employers seek convenient, comprehensive training with real-world applications. Enter Academy Training Center.
Academy Training Center for Rigging and Fall Protection marries extensive industry experience with a forward-thinking mindset. We used our experience to build a state-of-the-art training facility in Central Florida. We developed comprehensive training courses with the most up-to-date curriculums in the industry. Our trainers consistently review and evolve our training materials and courses. Unlike others, our approach goes beyond just theoretical knowledge. Hands-on training tailored to your specific needs is the core of what we do. We strive to provide you with the best training you need for your jobsite. We provide full courses in Spanish. Academy Training Center effectively continues a legacy of success to the entire industry for safer, more efficient workers.
NCCER ASSESSMENT CENTER & CERTIFICATION
Academy Training Center has partnered with National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). We are a fully Accredited Training Sponsor (ATS) and Accredited Assessment Center (AAC).
We offer Training and NCCER Certification for Signal Person and three levels of Rigger. Your personnel can be NCCER Certified at any of our Florida Academy Training Centers. NCCER Certifications are granted for a period of 5 years from the certification date of examination.
