Edgar Espilco

Edgar Espilco is a trainer at The Academy Training Center for Rigging and Fall Protection. His background consists of working and training with North American Crane Bureau, Inc., as a qualified “Train the Trainer” with Certifications in Mobile Crane Inspector, Rigging Inspector, Overhead Hoist Maintenance, Forklift and Aerial Work Platforms. Edgar has also performed Mobile Crane, Overhead Crane and Rigging Inspections on behalf of North American Bureau.

Edgar is a CTP in Assessment Coordinator and Curriculum Performance Evaluator for NCCER. He has been conducting rigging and signal person accredited training and practical exams and is currently working on becoming a Master Trainer in ICTP, certified directly by NCCER.

Edgar continues working with 3M Safety Training as a “Train the Trainer” in fall protection.  He covers safety training in Authorized Person Essential and Comprehensive, Competent Person and Competent Person Trainer.  He also covers Equipment Inspector On-site or at the Academy Training Center.

Edgar’s goal as an instructor and inspector is to ensure safety training using the most current standards in OSHA, ANSI and ASME. As an instructor, he believes students need extensive skills development activities (hands-on) that will give the students the right tools to be successful in today’s leading work environment.

Edgar has assisted in providing/updating and development of formal classroom and practical operator training for various courses offered by the Academy Training Center, North American Crane Bureau (NACB), and their corporate partners.
