Overview

Educating and training workers is not only a regulatory requirement for employers but is also a critical element to improving worksite safety. For many employers, having an on-site instructor is a beneficial asset for providing timely, consistent safety training which is current with the applicable regulations and standards.
This five-day course is designed to specifically prepare participants to deliver 3M’s Authorized and Competent Person Fall Protection programs. Each person in the course will receive extensive instructor materials, including items such as instructor guides, lesson plans, administration practices, and a supply of student materials to get started.
Upon completion of the Certified Instructor program, successful course participants will receive a certificate indicating their ability to deliver these specific 3M Safety Training fall protection programs: Authorized Person Essentials, Authorized Person Comprehensive or Competent Person.
Students will receive a workbook for the class and certification upon completion.

Who should attend
Course participants should be individuals who have an understanding of and possess experience with working at-height, presentation skills and worksite safety programs.
Workshop training structure and course equipment kit are required.
