Overview
The Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) are a certifying trade body that provide a safe method and practice of the use of rope access systems. This course is passed by taking four full days of training and then passing an oral, written and practical exam administered by a SPRAT evaluator.
This is a pass/fail assessment.
This is a very physical course and most of the time will be spent on the ropes. There will also be time spent on theoretical material and equipment inspections.
Instructors are experienced Level 3 SPRAT technicians who have spent years in the field and training center alike. The skills and material that is taught in our courses are the same skills that our technicians take out in the field with them.
This is a very physical class and it is recommended to wear your regular work wear. Ideally, something lightweight and breathable would be optimal as there is a lot of climbing throughout the class. Sturdy work boots or shoes are highly recommended. All climbing and rope access equipment will be provided. If you would like to bring your own equipment, please contact us in advance.
Students will receive a workbook for the class and certification upon completion.
